This site is a tribute to Bernadette Mary Thornton, who died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, January the 11th. Bernadette was a strong advocate and promoter of the work that Kirkwood Hospice do and so any donation would have been appreciated by her, and is appreciated by her family. Whilst we are heartbroken by Bernadette's sudden passing, we are blessed and privileged to have known and loved her.
Funeral: Wednesday 25th January. 12:00. St Joseph's Church, Huddersfield.
Burial: 13:30, Hey Lane Cemetery, Huddersfield.
Wake/Celebration: 14:30, Meltham Golf Club (HD9 4DQ).
